How Do I add an SPF Record for my domain?

What exactly is an SPF record?

Great question. An SPF is a type of Domain Name Service (DNS) record that identifies which mail servers are permitted to send email on behalf of your domain. The purpose of an SPF record is to prevent spammers from sending messages with forged From addresses at your domain.

To setup an SPF (Sender Policy Framework), you must first setup a Domain. If your domain does not have an SPF record, some recipient domains may reject messages from your users because they cannot validate that the messages come from an authorized mail server.

Please add the following SPF record to your TXT DNS records.
If you have an existing SPF record entry, please include the domains below in addition to your existing one. You can only have one SPF record setup on DNS.

“v=spf1 include:rcmailsv.com include:mailsvrc.com include:redcappi.net include:mailsvrc2.com include:mailsvrc3.com include:mailsvrc4.com include:mailsvrc5.com include:mailsvrc6.com -all”

*if you don’t have room for all the servers below, write to support@redcappi.com and we’ll provide you with your sending domain.
